After the maternity and the newborn photo shoots… what comes next?

The motherhood ones. I actually find these the hardest to promote, and I’m sure that a lot of photographers will agree that Mothers do not spend money on themselves when they could be booking a cute family shoot.

I am guilty of it aswell.

A few years ago I booked a family shoot with Little White Photography, during which the wonderful Suzi took some images of me breastfeeding. We were on a budget buying the photos so I sacrificed these images for my children looking adorable, a decisive which niggled at me for 2 years. Last year for my birthday, my wonderful husband secretly approached Suzi who luckily still had the images and bought the breastfeeding ones for me- this was the most thoughtful thing anyone has ever done for me.

To have these images of one of the most intimate, special periods of my life means so much to me and I want to show you why…
