This project began in 2021 with the aim to educate, support mothers, normalise and show the soft, beautiful side of breastfeeding.

Since it began, Instagram has now lifted the ban on images showing breastfeeding (this was one of the major issues that I, as a motherhood photographer, experience when sharing my art).

At the heart of this project lies a desire to shed light on the normalisation of breastfeeding in photography. This project captures the beauty of it and presenting breastfeeding not just as a biological act but as a symphony of love, bonding, and empowerment.

Local mothers share their stories through my lens, showcasing their vulnerability, their strength, and their unbreakable bonds with their children. Through these photographs, I strive to remove stigmas relating to nudity and breastfeeding and celebrate the authenticity of motherhood. Each image tells a tale of courage, as mothers unapologetically embrace their roles while redefining societal norms.
