Are you ready for a heartwarming story? Well, grab a cup of tea and get comfortable, because I'm about to tell you about a recent lifestyle newborn session I had with a 10-day old baby, his elder sister, parents, and the most beautiful family dog!

What made this session truly special to me was that this was the second newborn shoot that I have been entrusted with for this little family. When families return it really does make me so proud and so honoured that I get to watch them grow- thankyou to those wonderful clients! So, not only was this the second newborn shoot, baby F was exactly the same age as his big sister (V) at her shoot! We even managed to replicate a couple of the images, I cant wait to get comparing!

Firstly, can we talk about how delightful newborns are? This little guy was no exception - his tiny hands and feet, cute nose, and delicate features had me captivated. His elder sister, V was equally delightful! She was thrilled to introduce me to her new baby brother, play hide and seek and show me around.

As we settled in for the session, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to capture these special moments for this family. They had just welcomed a new member, and their home was filled with so much love and warmth. It was evident that this was a unique time for them, and I adore being able to capture this for them.

One of the best things about lifestyle newborn sessions is that they take place in the comfort of the family's own home. This allows for a relaxed and natural atmosphere, which is ideal for capturing genuine moments and emotions. It also means that the family's four-legged friends can be part of the session too - which is always a bonus!

In this case, the family's adorable dog was just as thrilled about the new baby as everyone else. She sat calmly at the foot of the bed, keeping an eye on his new little brother and monitoring everything that was happening… until the zoomies set in and she started REALLY enjoying her modelling experience.

Throughout the session, we captured all kinds of special moments. From nappy changes, to to snuggles with mum and dad, his proud big sister- every moment was filled with so much love and joy.

As the session concluded, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the experience. Being part of this family's special moment was truly an honour. And I know that the photos we captured will serve as a reminder of this precious time for years to come.
