One whole year! Can you believe it? That really has flown by!

It has been one of juggling shoots in one of the most BEAUTIFUL areas of the UK, settling into our new home and the stunning South Devon countryside and coastline, building up my business again (not daunting AT ALL after 10 years in our old place) and writing courses, teaching workshops, growing Intangible Presets and mentoring some of the most inspiring photographers!

Photos of their childhoods really are the most precious gift that we can give our children.

Looking back at this year’s photos I’ve been filled with such joy. My own family has grown so much! The children have lost their babyness- their rounded cheeks are slimming, they are stretching and growing crazily and before I know it I’ll be looking at a preteen! I’m so glad that I have this job and I am fortunate enough to have so many photos captured of my babies.

One thing that Devon has surprised me with is just how many varying locations there are for family, motherhood and childhood shoots. Places for children to run, dramatic landscapes for those nurturing motherhood moments and open areas with amazing backgrounds for your family to play. Salcombe, Dartmouth, Kingsbridge, Totnes, even over towards Dartmoor, Plymouth and Exeter I’ve found some gems of locations.
