Imagine a visit from a friend to greet your newborn into the world, a cup of tea, baby cuddles and there just happens to be a camera.

I remember the exhaustion of post-birth life. I also remember the mess (me and the house!) and the chaos of trying to create a new normal as quickly as possible.

I wish someone had explained to me firstly the precious beauty of this mess and the memories that it creates, and secondly, the fact that even this is not a reason to be put off of having a newborn shoot.

I promise, that there is ALWAYS a corner of your home that is utterly perfect for a backdrop (think sofa, cot, your bed… anywhere can be utilised).

The beauty of an in-home newborn shoot is that you can be as involved as you’d like- if capturing family photos is important to you then we will centre the shoot around those. If you solely want images of your incredible new addition then I will tailor the shoot to capturing just those.

You can relax, chat and feel (and be) completely at home, trusting me to do what I do best- capture your beautiful memories (and coo over how utterly incredible your baby is!).
