Welcoming Baby Arthur with a Beautiful, At-Home Newborn Lifestyle Photography Session in Kingsbridge, South Devon

This was another favourite shoot of mine. Baby Arthur was absolutely gorgeous! I went to go visit him in his home near Kingsbridge, Devon. It was a combination of cuddly newborn days and motherhood emotions. Because it was a lifestyle shoot, it ranged from natural newborn moments (e.g., changing and feeding him) to slightly more preplanned images. The beauty of newborn shoots is that you capture a real moment and memories for the family; that's what I truly love about them.

I will always include a variety of images in galleries such as this- closeups, free-lensed (can you tell which are those ones?), newborn wrinkles, dry skin, yawns, cries and contented sleepy photos. From my own experience it is SO hard to remember the early newborn days, so I never underestimate the power of photography when it comes to babies and motherhood.

I even managed to break out my 1980s film camera for some film shots- lovely, nostalgic filminess!

These memories will be fondly remembered, and the images looked back on as they are passed down through future generations- Arthur's first days! So take a look and see what you think!
