What is it About Maternity Shoots that so often make my whole body completely cringe?!

You know that feeling when you are watching a comedy and suddenly you desperately feel for the character, wanting the ground to swallow them up? That is so often the feeling I get when I look at heavily posed maternity photos.

This is one of the reasons why I very, very rarely pose my clients. I can’t do it, and I find that neither can my clients.

What Do I Do Instead?

I prompt you. I distract you, I get you moving, natural flowing and playing. Posing is kept for nude shoots when certain areas could do with being covered… Apart from that though, it’s all about the natural, free form and beautiful movements of your body. Who YOU are, rather than how I want you to be holding yourself. Your baby in the future wants to see YOU at this incredible time, pregnant with them and glowing.
